What are intimate injections?

Gynaecological or intimate injections are medical procedures that most often involve injecting hyaluronic acid or blood plasma into the external genitalia. These injections are usually given for therapeutic purposes, to relieve pain, discomfort or other specific functions.

Hyaluronic acid injections

These injections are used to correct aesthetic defects of the external genitalia, such as asymmetry, small volume, ageing, discomfort and unpleasant sensations – dryness and itching, burning sensation. Also for painful sexual intercourse, post-partum scarring in the perineal area, and atrophy of the vaginal mucosa. Blood plasma injections

Plasma injections, also known as plasma or I-PRF therapy, is a procedure in which a patient’s blood plasma is isolated – the valuable, platelet-rich plasma is extracted by centrifugation and then injected back into the patient, usually for the purpose of a specific treatment.
